Justin is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary visual artist working across drawing, painting, and sculpture. Their work explores the relationship between environments, their forms, and human presence. In sculpture, they create expressive human figures, abstract forms, and decorative objects using materials including wood, concrete, metal, and glass. Their drawings and paintings depict landscapes, cityscapes, and architectural spaces, with particular attention to light, color, and atmosphere. Across their practice, Justin explores how people interact with and experience the spaces around them, and how light, color, and form can shift the mood of a place.
